Fairy tales
Fairy tales don’t live out in the same way we were taught them
the prince sent the footman to clean up the entrance and found the slipper
glass and cold
and went around trying to find the owner
and him and Cinderella got coffee and when she asked what he did he lied and said
he was the prince but then the shoe fit
and it all went to s***.
Rapunzel was wearing extensions and the prince fell to his death
Beauty and the beast was all mixed up he needed a night to stay and the beast was too shy to even answer the door
Yeah because he thinks it’s all your fault
But he made you stop wishing on stars
And that your dreams would only disappoint you
That you were nothing without him
That he didn't know where it would all go with you in charge
So you sat there and cried
But babe look in the mirror he’s scared of what you will achieve
Without him
Without his help
Without you he wouldn't have come this far
No its not big-headed its being realistic
The prince put the shoe on her foot
It was her real hair
And she accepted him even though he was a bit hairier than usual
Happy endings exist
Even if he isn't in them.
