Excuses are useless!
And so are we.
But who knows what we could be.
I see you crying, all alone.
I see your fear, stalking like a drone.
You sit there crying on the floor,
Your family knocking, at the door.
A hand full of nothing,
Your stomach handling it like it's stuffing.
You lean your head against the sink.
You feel the pain as you try to drink.
I feel the shivers as I write about you,
I see no difference, between us two.
I've been there,
The place is gone, I don't know where.
But I see you spit it out,
The angel on your shoulder gave you doubt.
You can still be free,
But who was the angel? Could it be me...
