Keep the Freedom
I cried.
Who wouldn't?
She had no reason to die.
She knew what she needed.
She fought for it,
and she was rewarded for it.
Rewarded with death.
Her cause was noble.
She was a hero.
I looked down into her coffin.
A face I am so used to.
Dressed in her uniform.
I salute and continue on.
That is what she would have wanted.
To keep the freedom she fought so hard for.
To defend our nation.
