Where I'm From
I am from towering pine trees,
And the miles of lush wood.
The whispering, cool breeze,
And the buzzing of the bees.
I am from the daises and tulips in bloom,
They will be very beautiful soon.
In copious amounts, they will rise,
The grassy field’s new disguise.
Coloring the landscape ,
Pushing away winters rage.
I am from a place where the music powers imagination,
Where fights are started by aggravation.
Where home is the final destination,
After a lengthy day of education.
I am from a silent, sleepless night,
Watching the stars shine so bright.
In the morning the sun is the skies new light,
Within every single person’s sight.
