What is red?

What is red?
It is the heart
And a powerful force
It sounds of noble beats and shows the power of sacrifice and love.
However, not many know
Of the darker nature of red
How it speaks of blood
And smells of a cross of tyranny and anarchy.
Red feels like like the binding hand of a ruler but also feels of discord and chaos.
So whichever side you choose
As a beacon of hope or of chaos.
Remember, they say red is just a color.
Though I believe it to be something more.
