Hospital
Yesterday
I visited the beach.
I was surrounded by sand.
Sand brings me back to the dark day in
December.
The glaring lights burn holes in my soul.
The wrinkled sheet sticks to my sweaty body.
I'm being rushed into surgery.
I've eaten sand.
So much sand.
I had no clue, it come to this,
We were so strong together.
I loved you,
I still love you.
Maybe
You'd love me too
If you could see me now.
