Eyes...
What is it about a person?
That can say so much about them
More than any words or actions
It’s the look in their eyes
Eyes, like white moons
Dotted with colorful gems
Resting upon delicate flesh
Beautiful, omniscient
Eyes will reveal every detail about a person
They will tell a person’s history
Their past,
Their triumphs,
Their struggles,
Eyes leave no mystery
You can see the future
Where they’re going
What they desire. . .
The darting of eyes in every direction
Matched with the smooth complexion
Reveals a contemplative perplexion
A Surreal psychological dissection
A deep, yet gentle, connection. . .
With the eyes of another
You can see who they love
You can see what kills them inside
You can side what they fear
You know where they’ll hide. . .
But,
You can only see such things
When you yourself use your eyes
Then you’re just as vulnerable
Everyone can see your lies
