Spiky,
Inky,
Black hair.

Covered with soot.

A midnight black face.
One
White
Trailed
Tear
Eyes of shattered glass
The veins

Through.

This poem came from an image I got in my head of someone's face covered with soot, and a broken glass type pattern traced on their face through the soot.
