Everywhere
I’m from no place in particular, no one certain place.
From anywhere and everywhere.
I’m from countless apartments scattered across Wisconsin,
A house for a short few months
At one point, a condo.
I’m from no place in particular, no one certain place.
I’ve been too many places to count.
No have a place to call my permanent home,
because I’m from everywhere.
Never one place for too long.
I’m from no place in particular, no one certain place.
That doesn’t mean I don’t have a home.
I have a home,
Wherever my loved ones are.
That is my home.
I’m from no place in particular, no one certain place.
I’m from wherever the love I receive is located,
And that’s enough to satisfy me.
