Blooms Despite Our Drought
She thinks about how the water in her lungs could kill her but
She mostly just wants you to swim in them so she can breathe you in and feel natural
With enough beauty to make her wish she had more eyes
She thinks it’s beautiful to wish for more limbs
She wants to see a pulse from the inside
Now he feels like drowning and when he tries to speak the water pools around his ankles and smells heavy
They say a picture is words a thousand words and seeing you like this is worth a million
They’re drowning but not in unison
Some things come to an end but not as fond as this
