Good Afternoon
(I) watch the birds (paint) watercolor hues
across the home's outstretched ceiling
as sultry steam rises from (my) jasmine tea
and teases the (air with) its seductive jive.
She blows stray locks from (her) brow,
and casts me that (sweet), enamoring grin,
eyes, chin, and cheeks smiling along,
as she caresses my pinky with hers.
The oak in the yard extends his branch
to let his green cherubs glance at our love,
admire the embers surrounding us two,
and bless our amour from smile to (kiss).
