Another Face

I’m seen as a violent red -
vicious and dangerous,
solitary and loathing,
avoiding the light others may shine.
With him I’m a spicy pink flame -
cheerful and bright,
loving and affectionate,
forgetting my other half.
They both show who I am,
but only one is where I’m me.
