Pale-faced, ill-hearted; with black slits for eyes that glared,
Hostile and solitary lived the snake,
Away from others in his corner at daybreak,
A routine of gray attire repeatedly paired.
Some said he was of the devil, and everyone feared
His wicked smile, as his face was of stone.
The stench of death was his only cologne.
Was he evil, or was he just weird?

Ooooooh I was hooked on this poem from the start! :D Great descriptions, I especially like the last 5 lines, people always comment on how something looks but it is even better when a poet describes how it smells or affects another sense, good job! :) If you have time, would you be able to check out some of my work and tell me what you think? :) Keep writing!
