After Throwing My Cap (Graduation)
Everything is so bright
It's such a gorgeous sight
Everday that the sun shines
It shines brighter than the last
The meaning of the word beauty it flawlessly defines
For my life is no longer confined
Never again do i have to walk in a straight line
Because i am free
If i wanted
I could set out from sea to sea
Ocean to ocean
There is no longer a need for those familiar, static motions
I feel like a dog unleashed from its harness
A fish escaping from that dreaded hook
As if i am invincible, ageless
But really, 17 years of my life is all it took
To give me complete and utter freedom
And my heart a continuous, happy rhythm
