Who Am I
Who am I
Who is the girl that lives within my eyes
That who talks
That who moves
That who lives
But who am I?
To others I am peace
I am happy and warm
I am cool and calm
I am seen but not heard
So who am I?
I who lives everyday smiling
Cries in the dark
I who loves and tells other to join
Too can hate life
I who seems put together
Is falling apart
Who am I behind all the lies?
I am pained
Disturbed
Yet stronger than ever
I who does not hide
Is proud of the scars
But I am also pleased
I am cheered to know the good that life can give
I can see the best in people
And choose to find the best in me
In the end I am blissful
I am the one who walks head up straight
Looking forward
And forgetting the past
I am me
It’s as simple as that.
