Today's a good day
Today is a good day
I'm happy and smiling
No one can bring me down
People glare, and I smile
And just keep moving on
Through these halls
There is every one happy
And sad
I smile to everyone
'Cause I know that's
what's Right
But then I see her,
Her collar bone showing
Through a thin layer of skin
And I know she's not happy
So I smile a bigger smile
In hopes of make hers
Bigger Too
Then he walks by
And I know what he's sees
Is not pleasant to him
For a glare comes from his
Dark shallow eye
But I smile a smile
Because of what I've been taught
To be nice to everyone even
Though some are not
A shoulder brushes mine
And the butterfly's appear
Words can describe his
Light seeing eyes
A green of wonder
Looking for something
And one can only hope it's me
He looks for
Eye contact is all that happens
Today and you walk right on pass
Without a word to say
But I can tell
Today's a good day
