Mischievous words
This is the last of it
too bad the addiction is paroling my brain
too bad my playful laugh
and curious smile
don't do anything
to pass my time
every moment
every second
I write another page into an empty book
and try very hard not to read it backwards
but forgetting is easier than remembering
and my troubled thoughts along with my mischievous words
lead me down a very sterile path
because letting go is much harder than remembering.
I understand now that I do not hide behind my smile
or my words
but rather I try very very hard
to hide from them.
