I stood, I reached, I hoped
Like the ground whose mountains yearn for salvation from the sea
Like the clouds that flee from their own sweet serenity
I fell ,I bruised , I cried
For solace, for comfort, for joy
For eternity, for peace , for feeling
A star that dust left stories but whose words were left unspoken
I watched, I yearned, I called
But all I heard were my echos
Pitter-pattering with the steady heartbeat that I called
my own
