What is love?
Does it curl up in your lap and purr?
Does it flap its wings and soar away?
Does it kiss the top of your head to say goodnight?
Does it hold a roof above you,
Or does it nudge you into the open?
Does it stand tall and immobile,
Or does it flit about on monarch wings?
Is it a shiny, sealed package tied with ribbons,
Or does it come in an unceremonious, unmarked cardboard box?
Is it a snow globe souvenir,
Or is it a magnificently painted mural?
