Sadness
Tears cascaded down my face,
I hugged my legs and looked at my lace.
I felt alone,
And I have no phone.
No one called or cared.
So I just stared,
Wondering why life is so miserable.
Leaving me in this terrible mess,
Of confusion and distress.
With nothing else in mind,
I just don’t know what to find,
To keep myself busy from the state of my mind.
