The Watch
Its aura reminded me of an old child’s poem
The leather was old and pliable but the silver still reflected a glimmer of hope
It reminded me of a myth, a legend
A legend that ran out of time such as the watch had
But the silver that was not yet rusted reflected the light
Giving us hope that someday the legend will return
Someday time will move again
Yes, the stitching was still very in tact
Very precise
Very exact
Time has stopped but there is still hope for time
