That Girl
Such a wild girl,
waiting on life to catch up
Mind's racing ahead
But she can't slow herself down.
Everything is so new and exciting;
Love exists and it's so inviting.
Such a curious one
No matter the price or hurt
She wants to know all and she wants to know now,
How will it all come crashing down?
Such a lovely girl,
Surrounded by pain and suffering
In a world that never learns
But one day I hope you'll see
That girl was me
Just waiting for you to turn around
I'd fall to see if you'd notice
Catch me if you can..
The wind is whirling by now
The blood spatters down, in a sickly sweet pattern
Death is an end that we can't get around
