The Perfect Moment
The sky is a very light blue
And it’s soft around the edges
It casts off dull milky shadows
That makes the entire tree’s leaves
Look much more vivid and alive
It’s impossible to capture that sky
On paper, even if the paper was thin papyrus
From the Ancient Egyptian ages
How could we ever capture
Such brilliance in writing or art?
Trying to make nature collages,
Sticking leaves on poster board
With Scotch tape, and stapling
The pages together unevenly
How long to wait before
The perfect photo shows itself?
