The Wind and Me
As I stand in an open field, I feel the wind blow around me.
The wind, as it breezes through the grass, making it dance, as it shakes my shirt, and blows through my hair.
I feel the wind, hear the wind, see the wind. It is a strong, everlasting wind.
The sky is bright, there are only a few clouds, but the wind keeps blowing.
I feel the wind, carassing me, caressing me, trying to lift me up like a kite.
I feel comfort in the wind. A warm sense of belonging, the wind gives me, as I stand in that open field, dreaming of the wind carrying me with it, above the earth, across the sky; I won't care where it'll go.
Just the wind and me.
