That Sting
I saw you in my dream last night,
With that girl that you found,
Or should I say, Replacement.
It shouldn’t hurt this bad,
I found somebody new…long long before you.
I have no right to complain,
But that fact that I can imagine your lips on hers… So happy…
On the beach, like you and I would always talk about.
Doesn’t matter though,
You’re drinking in a different girl with your brown eyes,
The same eyes that cried when I said
“Goodbye"
It hurt me too, you know,
But that can’t matter anymore,
You’re finally happy
And who am I to steal that away from you?
I just hope that she’ll love you half as much as I did,
If not, more so.
