The Maze
Life has been up and down
ever since I first touched the ground
I keep going round and round
Sometimes I feel I'll never be found
lost in the twist of the great abyss
my only tool is my fist
But violence never leads to bliss
my tears constantly fall
for all I've ever found are walls
and really long dark halls
I'm in a maze
with no end
my mind is in a haze
getting darker with every bend
But now I see a light
That brings me into sight
My God I miss the light
Shining oh so bright
and now I see the doors
all across the floor,
I can leave this hazy maze
to find a better way.
