I would twist my words

I would take up swords

I would meet with lords
But that's not what I want
I want my words to
Spill onto the page
I want my words to
Destroy my cage
I want my words to
Get rid of my rage
These aren't senseless words
I want you to look
To see the feelings behind jumbled thought
I want you to look
To realize we shouldn't have fought
I want you to look
To realize I'm no longer caught
Your words don't capture me
I want
