One More Night
She is a 14 year old,
Some think she's mean, some think she's cold.
She lives in a nightmare called life,
Her dream is to revive from all the miseries she survived.
People think they know her
but its so not true and she gave up long ago on the thoughts of others.
They think its her arrogance, but I know better.
I know the lies, the compromise, the pain, the pride and every other thing she hides.
Because it is her face I stare at, when I look into the mirror,
And I'm the only one she can rely on to correct her errors,
To say that this is not how life is meant to be.
I'm the only one to give her hope,
To tell her, baby, hold on a little longer.
You're going to be just fine, you'll be alright.
I know that this only gets worse from here,
But I refuse to realise.
I tell her to fight and it'll be over tomorrow,
Every time, just one more night....
