I'm not crazy
I hear you sometimes
Don't think I'm crazy
Your voice still rings in my ears
Like a wind chime in a tunnel
I see you sometimes
Don't think I'm crazy
a flash of curly brown hair Catches my eye
Then I am left to realize
You're no longer here
This all happens far to often
Maybe it's my active imagination
Or a memory screaming to be free
Or you're simply telling me you haven't forgotten
That's what I'm afraid of
Forgetting
I don't want to lose the image of your sparkling smile
Or the memories we share together
I don't want to forget your voice
Or your skillfully said advice
I hold on to these way to tightly
So tightly my heart aches
I'm reminded of you daily
The legacy you left
And the life's you made better
Including mine
Don't think that just because you're gone
You won't be my hero
You're a invisible angel
With wings so bright
Who will always be my curly haired angel
