Can’t you hear these cries of terror.
these words of pain.
these spells of hatred.

It just won’t work.
my whispered curses.
my word of evil.

These scars on my heart,
are a mere remembrance.
Of the past.

Of the ghosts that follow me,
the horrors that haunt my dreams.
And of this everlasting darkness.
