Signed, your truly.
Love,
Knowledge surging thru my brain,
I wonder why I continue to leap into this pain,
While you play hopscotch on my feeble heart.
Tearing away at my soul and my integrity,
Creating a sour disparity
In my still aching heart.
Agonizing over what once was -
So perfectly ingrained in my infinite mind because…
Those times meant something to me.
The deep angst you caused still flows back,
Somehow slithering callously thru the cracks
Overshadowing much more pleasant a times
(Or at least more pleasant than how I remember you now – after it all).
And I wonder why:
Why I continue to randomly cry,
Why I let you hector me so.
However, I do not blame you one tad.
For you once gave my heart everything it once had:
Passion,
Attraction,
Satisfaction.
Yet I still fear you skulking in my heart,
But I long for you, despite your past ingratitude,
Your clear wrongdoings.
I have a burning lust for you to come again,
Despite what has happened again, again, and again.
Sincerely,
Yours truly.
