Dance beneath the Stars
The night was cold,
But we had each other to hold.
She was in my veins,
My body a mere blanket on her-
Her scent in my nose,
My tongue longed for her,
The stars watched us,as
We broke into a dance of rhythm divine.
Our bodies twined -as our souls
Merged into a nebulous entity.
We lay bare- exhausted.
The moment hung heavy,
As we stared into each other-
I drowned
In the vastness of her eyes.
The wind conveyed our emotions,
Silent moments spoke a thousand words.
Her lips touched mine,
And blue sparks
From deep within the abyss of my heart,
Shot through my body
Radiating out lyk roots of a tree.
And we broke out
In a dance with flames of fire.
