A World That Used to Be
In a world of great beauty
we cower
and in the darkness of our shame
there is no beauty at all
so as we live
we live in the shadows
beneath the building of our own blame
It is then that the greatness deteriorates
without a mind so capable as to see
and locked behind our own negligence
is the key to a world that used to be
