Love and Tolerate every person, pony, and brony <3

oh
the irony
when a
crazy man pleads
that his wife is under seize
by demons he
has
inside his crazed cerebrum
so she leaves
and
nobody
knows
that it
was he, that tried
to
m u r d e r
himself with his
pistol

and the power he has over
his family of five
is wrong, immoral
as it’s him with the tick
that makes
him the bomb
the one that can
k i l l
and then burn
and destroy
the
whole home
but can you
see what this did to him
by the time
his wife
was killed in the bedlam
Daughters were

murky

dark year that wouldn’t subside for her
trapped bird in her cage
with the captors at hand with her way to freedom
the keys

ringing with desire
clinking with the sound of home

blinking tears back with every stroke
every drip that falls on the floor
from the cuts that the doctors worked with
so when she went to sleep
they took their hammers
their nails
and ripped them through her head that night
and left her laying in the dark

in that cruel world
where one word

The author's comments:
This is not an emo stupid poem, its about the unfair position that men were put into during the Victorian era. They had power over every woman and child and no one questioned them, no matter how outragous it was. I based it somewhat off of a song/poem by Emilie Autumn called 'Miss Lucy had Some Leeches'.
