I have a kind heart.

But people take advantage of this, so I end up becoming cruel.

I don't want to be cruel, but I am forced to so I can protect myself.

I wish everyone was kindhearted.

Then I wouldn't have to go around shielding myself from their words.

I wouldn't have to listen to the barbed comments thrown my way.

I wouldn't have to be diappointed when I ses a person's true nature.

I wouldn't have to pick and choose my friends because everyone would be friends with one another and everyone would want the best for each other and everyone would encourage one another and never hurt each other's feelings.
