One day
Didn't we always know the truth,
We'll be separated,
Ripped apart,
Not by schools or states,
But by distance
One day my feet won't touch earth
You'll be standing,
While I am floating,
Not floating because of bliss,
But because of pain instead
Society had us fooled,
Thinking they cared,
But they don't
Didn't think that you were scared,
But you were terrified
Terrified of failure,
Terrified of love,
Terrified to let anyone in,
No one really understood,
And now they won't have to
One day ill be gone
Life would be simpler
No one would fight
No one would have to listen to me
And now, I'm gone
