In mothers arms you are safe
Dark and menacing,
Evil, intense,
blood stained soul,
Eternity of burning flesh,
Empty eye sockets,
Broken bones,
The heat catching your gasping breath,
A sense of a chilling figure,
Nails worn down to the bone,
Eternal shrieks of pain,
An unquenchable thirst,
Searing pain on every inch,
Won't you make it stop?
Screams muffled by your tears,
Only with mothers touch heals,
The room comes into play,
Sweat is rolling down,
Gentle eyes and a cooing voice,
You feel safe,
She speaks softly,
"Only a dream my child."
She kisses your forehead
You feel safe,
No more pain,
No more misery,
In mothers arms you are safe.
