Depression's A Battlefield
My world falls into utter darkness,
My soul is at stake.
The battlefield comes into view full of death and hatred,
They’re here, their skeleton hands grabbing,
Their black sockets stabbing.
They decimate and devastate as they go,
It's just like everything going cold.
The veterans drop,
While our hearts pop,
I’ve lasted every bullet shot.
My body is fine,
But my soul is at stake.
It’s leaving with every trigger pulled,
While from first shot, my sanity was stolen.
This world is full of evil,
No one is safe,
my soul is at stake.
THE SHODOWS PERISH, ENGULFING ME AS THEY GO,
So kill me now or leave me to perish in hell,
Because the world goes white,
And I’m still a soldier on the battlefield just waiting to go towards the end of my light
