Simplicity
Sleep well, my Angel,
For tomorrow will bring,
Yet another veil.
One to blind us from what we truly love, and from what we really wish to sing.
But, have hope, for not all is dull and grey,
Color will, one day, reign and the sun will shine every ray,
On our lives and smile,
To greet us both as an old friend.
And, no matter what anyone says, I know our love will not be forced into a tragic end,
But will be, not a sad or dreary tale,
A story to share, only to fix and mend,
A once broken heart,
But shall never reveal,
What was felt, when we first came together, and what made a perfect and flawless seal,
On something we have come to call love,
A thing that, I know, will not be forced to end.
