It is all I am
When I bleed
My blood runs black
Down the pages that are my body
And the marks that scar me
Tell the story of who I am
Words written on my skin
The scars I carry

Beautiful work, I don't know if you've read the inkheart trilogy but this really reminds me of the ideas in it. In the 2nd and 3rd books the characters are inside a written story and there's always a question over whether it is the peopel who are controlling the storyline, the author, or the ink world itself. Very good. :)
