Tragedy
There’s something breathtakingly beautiful about heartbreak
an irrevocable elegance to the way a life can be shattered
a simplicity to the earthquake of the delicate
dismissing oneself into a stream of unclaimed consciousness
there’s something utterly brilliant about the way one loses their mind
and has to fight to regain their soul
But there was something different about ours
You didn’t see my heart slam against the cellar floor
and scrape the remaining remnants of itself into a glass
to hold its self together
now did you?
