Winter's holidays
The smell of holy and mistletoe fill the air
in school I draw Santa's and chimneys
knowing no man will appear in my fireplace
commercials geared toward this one special day
a world of unique individuals grouped as one
shoves and slurs for those whose favorite colors are not red and green
Old Saint Nick with his jolly laugh
spurs shoves and tears for those who don't hear reindeer
I think of Christmas trees
as I proudly light my menorah
