The lovely night

The stars are bright
The moon wanes gently
Smiling Benevolently down on us
The trees stand as strong sentries
Guarding our hearts till dawn
The wind flies by
Speaking in tongues long forgotten
And the crickets and frogs sing
As Cicadas join in with their symphony
And the dark beautiful night
Paints skillfully
To create our dreams
