Isn't music kind of...?
Isn’t it crazy how music can change your mood?
How just a few beats of a drum,
or strums of a guitar,
or a few vocal lines
can make you so happy or so sad.
And isn’t it kind of nice
how music brings people together?
That you could be listening to the same song
as someone on the other side of the artist.
And that person could be crying their heart out
or they could be dancing in front of their mirror
or they could be trying to fall asleep
or they could be singing at the top of their lungs.
And isn’t it convenient that music is always there.
Whether you are sad,
or happy,
or angry,
or confused,
music is always there to support you.
It never backstabs you.
It never gossips about you.
It never trips you in the hallway.
Music is always there.
And isn’t it so special
that music always knows what to say.
That a few lyrics can mean so much.
That each word and beat
describes exactly how you’re feeling.
