There's a homeless girl living in my room
There is a homeless girl living in my room.
No,
Really.
A homeless girl is
Living in my dorm room.
It all started like this:
The man this girl was staying with
Got arrested for having some white powder,
And she knew my roommate from high school.
They dated.
So she needed a place to stay.
“Just for a few days.”
Well quickly those few days
Turned into four weeks.
Within those long, long weeks this girl:
Stole clothing from the local Walmart,
Had my roommate spend over one thousand dollars on her in food,
Slept with my roommate while I was in the room
And then proceeded to do the same with
Three
Other
Men.
Our room went from a small, but quiet habitat
To a place that looks like a sweatshop vomited every which way.
The room permanently is tainted with the stench of stale cigarettes.
Have I done anything about this?
But of course I went to the head of the Housing Department,
Who then believed my roommate’s lies
That it was “just for a few days.”
So now
I’m moving out.
Funny isn’t it?
I pay thousands upon thousands of dollars to live here,
And I am the one
Leaving the room.
