Sometimes I wish I could
Turn it off
Turn off everything
The arguing
The hatred
The voices
The people
It’s just not
Worth it
Not worth
The time
The energy
The feelings
The words
To break someone’s heart
Or to
Crush someone’s soul
The hurt
The pain
The tears
The impact
It all matters
But I can’t turn it off
I must leave it on
Letting it empty my soul
