Endgame
With troublesome rules
For every game,
Players can be frugal, furious, frustrated,
Calm, quiet, creeping.
Some knights are masterminds.
Leaving pawns clueless.
Whining at losses,
Bragging at victories.
Rooks rob,
Queen sobs.
Moving another square,
As another billion dollars is gained.
A platform for each side.
Black and White.
Despicable and benevolent.
Pawns cheered,
While the world yells “Checkmate!!”
