The Wind Will Always Blow
I’ve decided to live in the mountains of my thoughts;
Alone and at peace with the fact that I
May never again return.
Do not look for me,
Do not cry for me,
I will be alright.
I have buried all my sorrows in the Earth
And from them I have bloomed.
I have sworn to talk a lot less
And listen a lot more.
The silence has so much to say
If only you’d just listen.
Someone once told me that if you look hard enough,
You’ll find a breeze in any room.
So when you feel the stillness
Creeping over you like a ghost,
Just remember that there are planes leaving
For anywhere in the world,
At this very second.
There are vines deep in the forest
That ache to be plucked and turned
Into a gown.
