It seems we have lost all faith.
In our world, country, self.
Our hearts are turning to that of a ring wraith.
Our beliefs are being left on a dusty shelf.

We are slowly losing our trust-
for the government, our leaders, our generation.
Our faith in each other is sitting out too rust.
We are slowly losing more of the fundamentals of this nation.

We soon will regret the faith we have fled.
We will soon have pain and regret,
for all the lies we have said.
We will be wishing that these decisions we could forget.

As for now, try to keep your faith.
Work hard to complete the race.
Keep your heart from the reaper’s scythe.
Then you will soon be in a better place.
