It is said that you need faith, hope, and love.
But of these, the greatest is love.

This feeling seems to only come from a place far above.
It is not formed from greed.
Flying on the wings of a dove.
In each soul is planted loves seed.

It brings to us a heartfelt feeling.
We can smell it when we smell roses.
But with Satan we could be dealing,
if we answer what he poses.

Love is pure, love is kind.
It is able to sit and wait.
As it rests on a person’s mind,
for it is said, only love can conquer hate.

Love is the sun light,
it creates what is day,
but when it is gone, there is night.
But love still finds its way.

Love cannot be taken for granted.
It doesn’t last just for one day then leave.
Love is what the angels have always chanted.
It is there, even when we grieve.

When you have faith, when you have hope, when you have love- you have all.
For above everything in this world, the greatest is love.
Even when you stumble and fall,
Love will always be there.

This is the third and final part of my three part poem series: "Faith, Hope, and Love" As the poem says, you need faith, hope, and love but, the greatest is love. This is because you need love before you can have hope or even faith.
